Here are the first greetings in 2012 from a Road's End Puppy.
X Tra Fino, under the Christmas Tree. Fino will be 1 year old this months, lives in California.
Photos where taken by the owner of Fino.
"The first is a very busy photo, but you can see her at the bottom staring up at
the toy helicopter hovering above her. She is “queen of the boxes” after opening
gifts in the last photo. "
My dear readers, followers, and Road's End Papi -owners:
It would be most welcome, if you send a nice photo of your little butterfly, along with a few words with it. I would love to fill this page with some enjoyable moments you had, and to share with us.

8 Months old Papillon
Road's End X Tra Fino wishes you a Merry Christmas.
These wonderful photos are taken by the owner of Fino.
Fino lives in California, and is now 8 months old. She is a small girl.
Don't forget to click on any one of the images,to see them all in a beautiful gallery.
" As the weather has turned cooler, we’ve had to be careful to keep her warm at times. She is very fond of her Christmas sweater, and will pull it out of her toy box and bring it to someone to put on her if she gets chilled. She still lives to chase a ball, and we bought a set of balls to coordinate with her Christmas sweater. "

Road's End Papillons, Owned by Others, Horses + Dogs, a dangerous combination.
Hi Antje,
I wanted to let you know about my Papillon I got from you three years ago. Gilligan was in your E litter, a black and white boy. He has been our best little buddy for the past three years. He had a terrible accident last Thursday and got away from me and was kicked in the head by a horse.
We rushed him to our vet, who sent him to an ICU in Portland called Dovelewis. He spent two nights there in ICU and is now back home. He is doing amazingly well. Even though he had some small skull fractures he did not have bleeding in the brain and is a little weak on one side but is still the same great dog. It is a miracle he survived. I am warning everyone I know about how accurately a horse can kick and how dangerous it is to be around horses with dogs.
Please remember us in your thoughts, and I wanted to let you know that even though this was nearly a tragedy our little dog is going to make it through.
~Rebekah
Thanks for your concern. Gilligan is doing better every day. He is not very photogenic right now since he is on seizure medicine just in case and the medicine makes him sleepy. But here is a picture of him resting.

Road's End Papillons, Owned by Others
We have such great news:
Our girl Bisou was shipped of to Brazil yesterday and arrived this morning in Sao Paulo.
It was a 19 hour journey, excluding the delivery and pick-up from the airports.
But I had her new family well in formed to arrive to the airport with following items:

Nothing needed, here the new owners statement:
She licked the Karo, but I don't think she was hypoglycemic. She was dying for a walk!
It took me all afternoon to get her released but it was worth it.
As soon as I get some pictures I will send you.
Beste Grüsse
Carol

- A wet T shirt (it is very hot there now, summer time)

Good Evening
She is finally here!! She is well, playing, she is really wonderful. She
won't get off Larissa's lap, or mine. I was just typing and I was surprised by
she leaping on my lap. She follows us everywhere. When the officer of the
customs went with me to see her she was so happy and licked our face and finger
he thought she knew us. So he lowed our taxes! She licked the Karo, but I don't think she was hypoglycemic. She was dying for a walk!

Road's End Papillons, Owned by Others, Papillon Agility Training
Our Zitoni's new home is a home where they train her for Agility sports.
Here you can see the early + basic training.
Here you can see the early + basic training.
Zitoni has been rechristened Road's End Lapin Agile with the nick name Toni
Rabbit. She has become very attached to our other female and they play
constantly. I have begun playing with her on the agility equipment. The leash is for safety in case she tries
flying. She has no fear and seems to love the equipment (or the treats). Everyone is in love with Toni. Thank you for a wonderful
dog. Cordy
We are using lots of cookies to teach Zitoni to stop at the end of certain
equipment.

From the first time she loved it.

Road's End Papillons, Owned by Others
As you can see Bella and Zarina are best of friends. The love to chase
each other and now that the weather has changed they seem to find every muddy
spot in the yard. Their personalities are so different. Bella wants to be
close but not too close. She follows me everywhere, and I do mean
everywhere. Zarina is a lover. She loves to be cuddled and she insists on
sleeping on someone's lap. She loves snuggling. She's very calm when we take
her places. She is very social and likes to be petted by little children and is
not afraid of them. I always know when they are doing something they shouldn't
be because it gets very quiet and when I go to check on them. They are so much
like little human kids. They constantly amaze me and make me laugh every day at
their antics.

Road's End Papillons, Owned by Others
Hi Antje,
I just wanted to send you a picture of Nico and
Sunny enjoying the first day of Fall a couple of days ago. I believe that he is
two years old now. Wasn't he born in October of 2009? He is a pretty good dog,
very energetic. He gets daily walks and he travels with us a lot. He loves the
outdoors. How is his sister doing? I haven't watched your web page much so I don't see what your dogs are doing. I'm sure they all love you.

Road's End Papillons Owned by Others
Here a letter + lovely photo, taken by the owner of Road's End Misty + Mousse:
Hey Antje,
Hey Antje,
I promised you a photo of Mousse and Misty the next time I took pictures so I'm sending one on to you. They absolutely love each other and are truly best of friends. Mousse weighs about 9 lbs. and as you can see, is a very beautiful dog. Misty is probably between 3 1/2 and 4 lbs., is very petite, and cute as a button. Her coat is coming in beautifully and her tail gets prettier and prettier all the time. We've spent a lot of time at our cabin this summer where the dogs can run to their hearts content. I love how this breed appears to "smile" when they're happy--which they always are!! Thanks so much for allowing them to be a part of our family! Lynn.

Road's end XTra Fino:
These precious photos where taken by her owner .
Fini is now 7 months old, and she is the sister to our XTra Coco.
Hi Antje,
We go camping every year with Esther's extended family, usually to the central coast of California, and Fino (aka Zoey) made her debut as our official camp dog a few weeks ago. We arrived late in the day, which made for very nice ligting in the first two pictures. It was quite cool, even in summer, as it typically is on the central coast. There was no shortage of people to keep Fino warm when needed. She fell right in to the usual camp activities: you can see her engrossed in a good novel with Chelsea in the 4th photo.

6 Months old Papillon, Road's End Papillons: Owned by Others
New photos from Fino, @ 6 months.
Excellent photography by Burd L. Armor, who is also the owner of Fino.
Fino is the sister to our Coco.
Attached are some photos of Fino at six months. She continues to have a very slender, athletic build and is quick and agile. She weighs 3.8 pounds and continues to develop lovely coloring like her sister. You can get the best idea of her size in the photo with the yellow tennis ball. The two-colored ball in the other photos is about 2/3 the diameter of an actual tennis ball. The photo with my grand-daughter shows her exhausted after a lengthy session chasing balls. More often she exhausts the grand-kids.

Road's End Yellow Pepper:
Here an up-date from his new mom.
As you can imagine he is quite a little chewing machine! He has many toys to chew on, and is currently chewing on his favorite bully stick after waking up from an afternoon nap. He enjoys sleeping on his back, which is so cute and funny to me.
Here an up-date from his new mom.
he is doing absolutely fantastic!! He weighs around 4.5 pounds now, is very energetic, sweet, smart, adorable, and does wonderful in his puppy kindergarten class. He has learned to sit, lay down, come, "take it" and "leave it", as well as use the bathroom outside and on his wee wee pads at night. Today I took him to a small dog socialization play date, and he had so much fun meeting other small dogs (including 2 other papillons). He got his second round of shots 2 weeks ago and did well, no reactions. I have also brushed his teeth and bathed him twice, all with no problems. :)

I continue to enjoy watching him grow and develop. His veterinarian says he is developing wonderfully!
Thank you and hope all is well on the farm!!
Yellow Stone is now 13 Weeks old. His brother,Yellow Stone, here with us, is still available.

4.5 Months old Papillon.( Road's End Papillons, owned by others)
New photos from X Tra Fino, the sister of our Coco. (lives in California, photographer: Burd Armor):
Hi Antje,
Fino is now about 3.3 pounds now, but it seems like she is gaining it all in her legs. She is very quick and agile, and a good jumper. It looks like she takes after her mother in these respects. She loves playing ball.
Take care,
Burd
