Soup Bones for Papillons

I incorporated soup bones in my raw meat and raw bone diet for our Papillons.
A (Beef) soup bone is a wonderful recreational bone, which means, they do not eat the whole bone,but rather chew, and tear off the little bit of flesh which is on the bone when you buy it. The bone is not so messy like some of the other bones, and it can be used for numerous day to come. My Papillons absolutely love these bones, available in any groceries/ food store.

It is also a fairly inexpensive item, in relation to all those bones available in pet shops, which many of them have been basted, painted, dipped in all kinds of chemicals to make them look better.
Toss away your tooth brush for your pet, get bones, and you will see bright, shiny teeth within a few weeks.
A great way to eliminate tooth scales at the vet, and anesthesia, which Papillons are known to be highly sensitive to, and may never recover from.

6.5 Weeks old Papillon Puppies

Our youngest  , now 6.5 weeks old are getting leash-, table top lessons. They are getting to experience the hair brush, and other rooms in the house . There is a lot to learn out there:

Witch Hazel for Papillons, other Toy Breeds and Dogs. Topical Home Remedy for Hot Spots, Flea + Tick Bites

Many of our dogs, including our beloved little Butterflies suffer from allergies, occasional stings, flea bites, tick bites, sores and scratches of all kinds.
Witch Hazel is an effective, inexpensive home remedy to apply to the inflamed skin, (also your skin).
Available in drugstores, look for Witch Hazel that is made with ethanol, not isopropyl alcohol. Ethanol is a grain alcohol, and it is consumable.
A cotton ball with a dab of Witch Hazel, with anti-inflammatory properties, applied  3 or 4 times / day will sooth, and aid to healing a hot spot, or rash on your pet.
Use this herbal astringent in moderation,  as too much of it can also be harmful to your dog.
Witch Hazel is also effective as an ear cleaner for dogs. Instead of using alcohol, use Witch Hazel. It does not sting, and has a nice cooling effect.

Our youngest babes are 6 weeks old this weekend.
As they are making almost daily changes you will get to see plenty of pics of them.
and today we had reasonable weather to take them out for a few minutes.
