Fraskati's babes are going to be 4 weeks old tomorrow.
They had their first 5 minute glimpse outside today, as the sun was shining, and it was quite a spring-like day.

I recently heard about a Papillon dog, who ate one piece of sugarless gum(Trident), which fell out of the owner's by accident. By next morning the dog was very sick. He was vomiting without stopping. The vet he was immediately brought to had no doubt, that it was the sugarless gum, and he had at that point little hope, that the Papillon would survive.
I do not know yet, or if I will, about the outcome, and I pray for his survival, but I also would like to make everyone very aware of the fact , that there are out there:
baked goods which contain xylitol ,a 5 carbon sugar alcohol used in sweeteners)
Any dog ingesting xylitol, the chances are high, that it may cause
Someone contacted me today, in need of immediate care for a 13 year old spayed Papillon girl.
Here are the owners words: I found your website online and you have beautiful dogs! I'm wondering if you could help me out with my situation at all. I have a female Papillon, spayed, who will be 13 this year in October. I've had her since a wee puppy and as life would have it I needed to move into an apartment a couple of weeks ago out of a house. Here's where the problem comes in, my dog barks when she hears people outside when I'm not home, I took her to the vet who recommended a spray collar or a shock collar and neither one has phased her barking. In fact they only make her cry worse. She's in excellent health, besides needing a dental and gets along well with cats, she's timid around other dogs but ok with them, sleeps most of the day but can walk and run with the most active of them. Loves to stand on her hind feet and dance. I need to find her a new home and I don't want venture to craigslist. Do you know anyone who would love a
little senior girl? Thank you, Claire
Please consider to adopt this sweet little girl, or perhaps you know of someone who might. Star deserves to find a loving family, where she can live out the rest of her senior years.
Pleasecontact me , and I will see to it!! Thank you.
Little Willie, 9 months old , is certainly full grown by now, but remained ,with a heights of 8" at her shoulder tips, and a weight of 3.5 Lbs, about the smallest girl I ever had.
She is available to a loving family as a companion dog. She is as sweet as it possibly could come.
Willie is playful and very affectionate.
As I feed all my dogs a raw meat diet, she will have to remain on it. She loves her food, and thrives on it.
